Semester + Teaching Start:

The Winter Semester officially starts on October 1st. Teaching begins about 2 weeks later and runs until early February, with (in-presence) exams scheduled for the weeks after teaching finishes. There is a starters' week in the first week of October, mentored by older students as tutors. We highly recommend to take part to get to know the University, city, and other students and to learn the ropes!
The summer semester officially starts on April 1, with teaching starting directly in the first week, sometimes on April 1st, sometimes 2 days later if April 1st is a weekend. Unfortunately, there is no starter week for the summer semester.
