The approximately one-hour guided tour through the last exhibition of the overarching POWER HOUSE programme explains individual artworks, the exhibition concept, the work of the university gallery nova space and upcoming projects. Interested parties can ask questions about the artworks, the gallery or the curatorial work itself and talk to the curator.
Admission is free for all.

Sophia Scherer (*1991, Darmstadt) studied art and cultural management at Karlshochschule in Karlsruhe, art and visual history at Humboldt University in Berlin and Asian Studies/Art History at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka. In 2023, she will complete a Master's degree in Curatorial Studies at Goethe University and Hochschule für Bildende Künste - Städelschule Frankfurt am Main. She is particularly interested in reflecting on intermediary artistic practices that seek to relate to public spaces and debates. She was an assistant at Studio Karin Sander (2017-2021), worked on publication projects for MMK, Frankfurt a.M. (2020) and Deutsche Bank Collection, Frankfurt a.M. (2017) and as curatorial assistant for Portikus, Frankfurt a.M. (2023). She curated her own projects and was a fellow of the Julia Stoschek Foundation's Curatorial Research & Residency Program (2021/2022). Since 2022 she has been a programme assistant of the mentoring programme BPA// Berlin program for artists.
From November 2023, Sophia Scherer will take over the artistic direction of the university gallery nova space for one year on parental leave.
