204 Type-Gazette is the biannual publication of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, which presents the typefaces designed by students of the department Typography and Type Design. It presents the typefaces designed by students during the past semester.

The fourth issue revolves around the topic of smoking. From the bittersweet pleasure of tobacco to the hard-hitting addiction, the topic is dealt with in a humorous way. In a combination of detachable posters and classic type samples, the strict principle of conventional type specimens is broken up and presented in a new light, bringing readers from outside the field on board. Smoky scented ink and a wide variety of paper choices turn reading itself into an experience.
