In the course of digitalization, it is becoming increasingly evident how technologies intervene in the interpretation of both one's own and others’ bodily states. The atlas of databodies project approaches this phenomenon through interdisciplinary and methodologically diverse formats: cross-faculty seminars, lectures and discussions, exhibitions (including Futurium Berlin and Top e.V.), and the periodical publication series atlas of databodies. The series brings together artistic and design-based perspectives with essays on contemporary body concepts and the technology of bodily imagery – focusing on bodily autonomy and the space for individuality within these techno-cultural frameworks.
