We redesigned and electrified the classic “Simson S51” originally made in the former GDR. Our goal was to keep the simplistic construction, the easy and agile driving style and yet give it a modern core and futuristic look. The main body panel, which consists of one continuous piece of aluminium, wraps around the frame from three sides. In the back, underneath the seat, a drawer can be pulled out where all sorts of things can be stored. The batteries are accessible for charging and maintenance through hatches on either side of the vehicle. Slotted holes other a modular mounting system for a variety of attachments such as bags and other transportation solutions.
