Working Titles is an online journal for practice-based and practice-led research, initiated and run by doctoral candidates of the Ph.D. Programme in Art and Design at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. The title hints at the journal’s open and process-oriented nature.
The journal offers a platform for presenting research through any form of practice – from oil painting to anarchist urban plumbing – and enables the self-publication of working papers. Contributions are submitted to a non-blind peer review process based on trust, collegiality, and personal recommendation, rather than formal academic affiliation.
Working Titles welcomes submissions from international contributors as well as students and alumni of the Weimar Ph.D. programme – including past and present members of the editorial board.
