24th International Model Project Forum

On April 18, 17 students present the projects they were involved in, mostly covering areas of climate-responsive strategies for neighbourhood and urban development as well as topics of participation and mobility. The projects will be discussed with the interested public of the university, lecturers from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism and the practice partners attending the forum as guest critiques.

On April 19, the partners will present further „good practice“ projects and reflect on their own development as „experts of urban space“ in a panel discussion. The practice partners participating in the forum come from New York City (Pratt Center), Vienna (AIT Austrian Institute of Technology), Amsterdam (Office for Urban Development and Sustainability), Frankfurt (Albert Speer und Partner), Cologne (MUST Städtebau) and Überlingen (Henning Larsen).

We would like to thank all our long-standing and new Model Project Partners making it possible for our students to participate and contribute in the working environment of the receiving offices and institutions! The partners have thus once again made the teaching or research and application phase in practice an important part of the studies in the international master’s programme “Reflective Urban Practice” at the bauhaus.ifex, the bauhaus.institut for experimental architecture.

We wish all participants a successful forum and fruitful exchange!
