Online discussion series: Changing cities in a changing climate

A cycle of discussions about the city and the environment

Together with colleagues from MARCH Architecture School, Bauhaus University Weimar and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, Jun.-Prof. Daniela Zupan is launching a series of online discussions about the topic Changing cities in a changing climate. The web talks highlight the importance of cities over human wellbeing and the biosphere and how building materials and planning practices and routines interact with ecosystems in order to best shoulder the responsibility of cities' outsize role in a sustainable future. The aim of the web series is to promote a dialogue between actors, practitioners, architects, urbanists, planners, researchers and theorists from Russia, Germany, Austria and Switzerland and to understand how theories and practices of "green", low-carbon, socially just and inclusive urban development bear transformative potential in the XXI century.

Everyone is invited to join! More information can be found online.
