Der Masterstudiengang MediaArchitecture lädt ein zum Online-Symposium »Nature Data Narratives - How can we make climate change more tangible, visible and experimental with urban digital art scenarios?« in Kooperation mit der Media Architecture Biennale 2023.

The study program MediaArchitecture is represented in the publication Towards Media Architecture with interviews and project documentations. Educating the next generation of urban interaction designers around the world includes profiles of 15 programs, 3 students and 3 professionals internationally in the field of media architecture and urban interaction design. The University at Buffalo, SUNY is our cooperation partner in the double degree program "International MediaArchitecture Master Studies".

The Media Architecture Biennale 2020 (MAB20) invited students to send in their projects for the MAB Student Awards. The MAB20 especially encouraged submissions that addressed the theme of ‘Futures Implied’ and demonstrated the implications of media technologies for urban development, the design of public spaces, and the well-being of the ecosystem at large.

2. Genius Loci Talk "Digital Placemaking"

The topic of this year’s Genius Loci Talk – ‘Digital Placemaking’ – is occupied with how digital media is shaping cities today and what we can expect in the years to come. Urban digital media installations can bridge the gap between the physical and virtual realms.

Am 24. Mai 2017 fand das 5. ifex.kolloquium des bauhaus.instituts für experimentelle architektur (bauhaus.ifex) zum Thema „MediaArchitecture“ statt. Kurzvorträge zu medialen Prozessen der Partizipation, Animation und Interaktion lenkten den Blick auf den wechselseitigen Einfluss von Medien und Architektur. Außerdem stellten Mitglieder des bauhaus.ifex aktuelle Arbeits- und Forschungsschwerpunkte vor.

Unter diesem Motto präsentiert sich der Masterstudiengang MediaArchitecture mit dem Einführungsprojekt des Wintersemesters 2015/16 vom 02.03.-05.03.2016 auf der Messe "Farbe, Ausbau & Fassade" in München-Riem, Halle A2, Stand 114.

Unter diesem Motto präsentiert sich der Masterstudiengang MediaArchitecture mit dem Einführungsprojekt des Wintersemesters 2015/16 vom 11. bis 14. Februar 2016 im Hauptgebäude der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Geschwister-Scholl-Str. 8, Raum 203.

Studierende der MediaArchitecture / IMAMS und der Medieninformatik entwickeln zum CITY VISIONS Festival in JENA vom 08.10. - 11.10.2015 interaktive Lichtinstallationen.
