This module provides students with basic knowledge of GNU Octave. GNU Octave is similar to MATLAB and is a widely used tool for matrix operations, optimization, simulation and neural networks and thus an important software for engineers. It is used in the fields of construction, electrical engineering, mechanics, biology and image processing. Basic knowledge helps you understand GNU Octave and how to use it. Students should be able to write their own scripts for matrix calculations, visual output and basic optimizations after completing the course. In addition, the path from the system of equations to the matrix equation is shown.
