erase Love Lecture Series invites for transcultural exchange in art and architecture thinking and making. International artists, architects, urbanists, cultural practitioners, and curators share their multiperspective knowledge of global modernisms through a decentered and decolonial lens.

Performance maker and movement practitioner Simone Kenyon will introduce and expand upon the transdisciplinary approaches that inform her arts practice. Working within the context of place-relational performance making, she will discuss more specifically her ongoing research into working with mountain ecologies and turning towards the trouble of the embedded and embodied cultural geographies and mountaineering narratives of these environments, through her project, Into the Mountain.

Her acclaimed project Into the Mountain explores the physical,cultural and social entanglements with mountainous environments. A research project spanning 7 years and with a year-long programme of curated events, culminated in a place-relational performance experience within the Cairngorms Mountains in North East Scotland.
