Naomi Tereza Salmon, Weimar
Naomi Tereza Salmon was born in Jerusalem, Israel. She studied photography at the Hadassah College, Jerusalem and the MFA program "Public Art and New Artistic Strategies" at the Bauhaus-University, Weimar. Explicitly addressing different layers and forms of memory, she has worked extensively on commemoration – as in the project „Leben Terror Geist“, (1999-2003, in Buchenwald) – while also emphasizing the importance of forgetting. Her works combine photography, video, sound installations, and computer based picture sequences. She also works as an independent curator, and as a moderator and member of the non-commercial local radio station ‚Radio Lotte' and teaches at Bauhaus-University in Weimar.Introduction by Eleni Froudaraki, Ella Tetrault, Sarah Yazdanirad, Margarita Garcia, Yuegun Zhang.
