Two students of the Optical Media Revisited seminar (course by Dr. Sigrid Leyssen, Theorie Medialer Welten, Faculty of Media, Bauhaus-Universität Weimar – in collaboration with the Deutsches Optisches Museum, Jena), exhibited their work at the Bauhaus summaery2019.

They explore: How can we work with material objects and sense experiences to diversify our understanding of media history? How can we work with old optical devices to make them challenge our current-day understanding of media and perception?
