Concept description:
The wearable YONG 5C pushes boundaries at the intersection of Fashion and technology. Featuring a unique futuristic design reminiscent of royalty and dragon eyes, it allows sensing surroundings behind the wearer. An array of sensors maps the proximity of objects to the intensity of a haptic feedback. Whether putting you at ease at night or enabling experiencing the city in a new and exciting way, the YONG 5C neckpiece fosters the supernatural within you.
Technical features:
YONG 5C features an array of 5x2 LiDAR sensors scanning the environment with a 180 degrees + field of view up to a distance of 5 meters. In addition to that, an array of 3 ultrasonic sensors support the close range detection below 1 meter. The data from these sensors is used to generate haptic feedback in a radial pattern around the neck, indicating both the position and proximity of the environment. The battery, sitting in the front of the wearable for ideal weight distribution, can be charged via an USB-C cable.
