Shortened university library opening hours due to coronavirus conditions
On Monday (April 26th) the university library successfully entered a much expanded opening scenario with new technology. Since yesterday (April 27th) Weimar is subject to the »emergency brake« regulations resulting from the German Bundestag's vote of last week. The library is therefore compelled to reduce its Monday-to-Friday opening hours again to 9am - 3pm. However, the library stacks and limited number of study spaces will remain open and accessible during opening hours, with items able to be checked out at the self-service terminals.
Corresponding to the university's regulations on Digital Teaching, this regulation will initially remain in place until May 21st 2021.
