Dr. Martin Klamt is a geographer, political scientist and legal scientist. In the academic world, he conducted research on how (not) to use public space, on strategies of sustainable urban development as well as on gardening exhibitions at the universities of Munich, Berlin, Tokyo, and Taipei. Martin was the programme director of Walk21 – international conference on walking and liveable communities in 2013. At the department of urban plannig of the City of Munich, he works on walking strategies as well as on improving quality streets and places.
