Closing Party

The Institute for European Urban Studies (IfEU) was founded 20 years ago at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar with the aim of bringing together interdisciplinary perspectives on urban and rural areas. Even today, the IfEU sees itself as an interdisciplinary platform for understanding pressing social challenges and developing common objectives and strategies in the sense of socially and ecologically just urban and spatial development, but also as a lively place of open co-operation and shared identification. Under the title ‘IfEU20’, we have been celebrating our anniversary since April with a variety of events, formats and guests. These activities are documented and photographed on the IfEU20 homepage Bauhaus-Universität Weimar: IfEU 20 - Anniversary. Now our anniversary year is slowly coming to an end. On 27 November 2024 from 6 pm, the Institute team cordially invites guests, students, doctoral candidates, partners, alumni, current and former colleagues and employees as well as other interested parties to the closing party under the motto ‘yellow’. Come along to toast, eat, discuss and dance. No registration is required.
