On Monday, 18th of March 2024, Johannes Breuer successfully defended his doctoral dissertation (with "summa cum laude").

The dissertation is entitled "Schmerzen Formen – Designbasierte Entwicklung einer visuell-haptischen Erfassung individueller Schmerzerfahrung mittels interaktiver Eingabe- und Darstellungsformen" and fosters radically new ways of qualitative pain documentation using interactive and parametric graphics. These allow to express the pain individually through fluidly adjustable visualizations and contributes to future human-centered pain therapies, and data-driven medicine. The Professorship sincerely congratulates Johannes Breuer on his outstanding contribution!
