The project »Digital-material Objecthood« explored new synergies between theory, design practice and skills acquisition through experimental teaching and learning formats. Led by Philipp Enzmann, the project was implemented in collaboration with the Chair of Design Theory (Prof. Dr. Jan Willmann). It was funded as part of the initiative »Learning with Objects«, which aims to experimentally expand and depict objects at the interface between real and virtual spaces, integrating them into virtual and hybrid learning environments. Objects are provided either in the real or virtual realm and, in some cases, transformed between these two spheres through digital modeling, augmented reality, scans, 3D printing and CNC-Fabrication.
