Frederike Moormann
Frederike Moormann is a sound and radio artist. She studied physics, philosophy and media art in Munich, London and Leipzig. She gained her first journalistic experience as editorial manager at Radio Mephisto. Her work has been broadcast on Radio Corax, Deutschlandfunk Kultur and SWR2, among others. She was a member of the curation team at the Leipzig art space D21, where she co-curated the radio exhibition ‘Anybody out there...?’ co-curated. Most recently, she was part of the artistic research and theatre project ‘Space has become a crowded place’ (Premiere Theater RAMPE), which explored the colonial past of radio infrastructure. She has been an artistic associate at the Chair of Experimental Radio since 2020.
