The Interface Design Group is focussing on Interactive Art & Physical, Tangible Computing. Here are highlights of projects conducted at the chair. 

Artistic Intervention Interface Design, Bauhaus-Universität Weimar × Spiegelarche. The exhibition is searching for the mysterious, playful, humorous and imaginative use of renewable energies to enable artefacts to become self-sufficient.

Spiegelarche

A research team at the Professorship is working on how piezoelectric sensors can be integrated into musical instrument strings. This can result in musical instruments that function without resonators and pickups.

Fingies is an experimental prototyping platform for printed electronics that can be combined with different sensors and actuators from traditional and printed electronics.

The Tickle is an acoustic interface for sound, sensing vibrations from it's surface.

WiiSpray is a digital spraycan for graffity artists and other creative persons.
