The DIY Electronics Studio proposes an art-making methodology where concept and aesthetics emerge through hands-on investigation of electricity and the materiality of media technology. Students are encouraged to consider technology in a critical manner and learn to integrate it into studio art practice.
The DIY Electronics Studio proposes an art-making methodology where concept and aesthetics emerge through hands-on investigation of electricity and the materiality of technology. We aim to go beyond the capabilities of consumer electronics made to measure the world by imagining technology that connects us to the environment (and the environment to us) in adventurous ways.
