Work approach

With the mutual renunciation of the markings artist vs. audience in the space, a turn against common projections of passivity took place, with surprising consequences for the triangular relationship between artist - audience - work. For today's activation and performance artists, analyses of changes in contemporary audience behaviour form the basis. On this basis, they can develop new forms of publicity in order to effectively address the emancipated audience. Closely linked to this are: 1th the exploration of the post-identity age with all its inherent ambiguities of (hitherto) binary oppositions and 2nd the observation of co-presence of different positions, often described as phenomena of being in-between. Global experiences of the collapse of seemingly disciplined social bodies in moments of instinctive, autonomous physical reactions - the assembled body - find expression in artistic methods as geometries and objecthoods of change.
