Within the scope of summaery2020, the Summer Reel will present, for the first time, the best films from Media Art/Media Design and Visual Communication together. The annual screenings of the MEDIENROLLE and the SUMMERNACHTSTAPE attracts up to 1000 visitors every year and will now be shown online for a wide audience throughout Germany and internationally during this special year. Live interviews with the filmmakers from the campus of the Bauhaus University will be broadcasted online to accompany the short fiction, animated and experimental films, documentary forms, and music videos. The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the Summer Reel Audience Award.
