NEW WORKSHOP | Writing an Exposé

Date & Time: 21.01.2025 | 9 to 4 PM

An exposé often has to be written in science, especially when applying for funding. This course will therefore focus on how to write such an exposé so that it best supports your own application intentions. We will concentrate on the pre-doctoral phase, where exposés are usually needed for applying for scholarships or for admission to doctoral studies. Nevertheless, more advanced researchers who need to write an exposé are also welcome. In this respect, the course is explicitly designed as a workshop in which you can already work a little on your own exposé or the preparation for it. Due to the limited time available, the focus will be less on producing a lot of text and more on the (further) development of content and formal structures. The target group is therefore all those who are currently writing an exposé or will have to do so in the not too distant future.

The following points are covered:

  • Basic knowledge of the structure and content of exposés
  • Work on your own exposé and its preparation
  • Mutual support with structuring

Participants:
The workshop is designed in such a way that participants from all phases of the doctorate can be considered, as well as students who are about to start a doctorate. Postdocs are also welcome to participate - their special situation would then be taken into account accordingly.
