The exhibition »Traces of Recreation« presents 16 bachelor's and master's theses in product design that were created in the winter semester 2023/24 and summer semester 2024. Working individually or in teams, a total of 19 graduates explored current and relevant topics such as mobility, material design, industrial design, social and critical design. The exhibition not only offers an insight into the current design landscape of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, but also encourages reflection on the future development of design.
»Traces of REcreation« offers an inspiring space in which the creative traces and influences of the students of the Faculty of Art and Design become visible. Each final project tells its own story and contributes to the diversity of the works on display, allowing the different approaches and perspectives of the students to be experienced.
The exhibition design uses graphic and physical elements to mark the students' path and create a visual connection between the projects. These traces invite visitors to follow the creative process and the thoughts behind the works.
