Directions to our office:
By train
When you step out of the station, you basically just walk straight on to the city centre: cross the zebra crossing in front of the main building and then walk straight into Carl-August-Allee. This leads over Weimarplatz, where the shopping centre "Weimar Atrium" is located on the left, into Karl-Liebknecht-Straße. Follow this street past the town museum and the post office until you see a pedestrian passage through the row of houses on the right-hand side, in front of a bakery. Follow this passage and walk along Gerhart-Hauptmann-Straße directly towards the entrance to the university building.
By car
Leave the A4 motorway at exit 49-Weimar and continue on the B85 towards Weimar. In the city centre follow Berkaer Straße until you reach Belvederer Allee. There you turn left into Belvederer Allee and follow its course (Marienstraße, Steubenstraße) to Sophienstiftsplatz. The Sophienstiftsplatz is characterised by a complicated street layout and traffic lights. However, you simply follow the course of the street and only shortly before the end of the square, behind a kiosk on the right-hand side of the street, turn right into Coudraystraße. Directly at the university building turn right into Gerhart-Hauptmann-Straße, where you will find a parking garage.
Due to comprehensive construction works at Sophienstiftsplatz, arrival by car is currently only possible via Schwanseestraße or Erfurter Straße.

At the outside staircase you have reached your destination. You will find us on the 1st floor. When you have gone up the stairs, turn left. You will find the Chair of Building Physics in room 110 at the end of the first part of the long corridor.
