Looking beyond the horizon: Prof. Bargstädt advises building inspection in Uzbekistan

For around four weeks, Hans-Joachim Bargstädt, Professor Emeritus of Construction Engineering and Management at the Bauhaus-Universität in Weimar, toured the most populous country in Central Asia to provide technical support to Uzbekistan's construction inspectorate. At the invitation of the "Senior Expert Service" based in Bonn, a foundation of German industry, he visited several construction sites in October 2022 and gave a lecture on optimizing construction site operations in accordance with German quality standards.
