First online MSc defense
The corona crisis leads to new formats in teaching. Ms. Liselot Ramirez was the first student, which has defended her master thesis online via a video conference.
Ms. Liselot Ramirez has defended her master thesis with the topic "Mixed Reality Interface Prototype for Smart Home Systems" successfully on the 1st of April. She completed therefore the program Human Computer Interaction. Professor Eva Hornecker and professor Christian Koch supervised the master thesis. Because of social distancing, the defense was the first one, which has taken place in an online video conference. The Chair of Intelligent Technical Design has set up a BigBlueButton room within moodle for this purpose. Online examination and defence is an important step for the digitization of education.
