What are the psychological factors that influence our behaviour in traffic? What methods can be used to predict this and are there ways to control it?

Next Monday, the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt and the Bauhaus University Weimar will welcome Dr Sonja Forward from the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (Statens väg- och transportforskningsinstitut) as part of the lecture series "International Case Studies in Transportation". The Swedish scientist, who is also active as president of the Swedish Pedestrian Association and a board member of the National Road Safety Society, will give a lecture on "Traffic Safety: Road User Behaviour".
