Information on exams under the current conditions

Next Monday (15.02.2021) the exam period will start. We are once again addressing you directly with this message, as the exam period this year will be different from previous years.

You have already been informed by Prof. Koch via e-mail on February 5th about the valid rules for the examinations under pandemic conditions. We from the Chair of Transportation System Planning would like to summarize the most important rules and behavioural recommendations once again below:

  1. Please note that you are not allowed to participate in the exams if you are in domestic quarantine or had contact with a person infected with the virus SARS-CoV-2. Furthermore, participation with COVID-19 symptoms (this especially concerns cough) is not allowed. If your symptoms are due to another illness, please provide a medical certificate. If you feel ill on the day of the exam itself, please do not participate in the exam and get a sick note from a doctor.
  2. From the moment you enter the building, you are obliged to wear an FFP2 mask. If you do not have your own FFP2 mask, one will be handed out to you outside the building.
  3. Be sure to follow the posted walking directions in the buildings. There is only one designated entrance and exit.
  4. Please arrive on time for the examination and take your seat immediately after entering the examination room. Please occupy only designated seats.
  5. During the examinations, which take place in the seminar rooms of the Weimarhalle, at least one surgical mask must also be worn at the seat at all times. The examination may not be taken down without the mask.
  6. In all other examination rooms, we strongly recommend that you also wear a surgical or FFP2 mask at your seat.
  7. Please complete the contact tracing sheet and quarantine declaration prior to the start of the exam. The forms will be provided to you in the exam room.
  8. We will be ventilating the rooms periodically during the exam. Therefore, take a sweater or jacket to your seat if necessary.

If you feel uncertain about taking the exam, for example because you belong to a risk group, please contact us in advance (i.e. BEFORE the day of the exam). We will then try to find an individual solution. The same applies to open questions about the exam procedure.

We wish you a successful and healthy exam period
