Job offer as student/scientific assistant (m/f/d)
The Chair of Transport System Planning is looking for a student/scientific assistant (m/f/d) to work on the administration of the IT infrastructure of the chair with a workload of at least 40 hours/month (by arrangement).
Your tasks:
- Setup and maintenance of the IT infrastructure
- Maintenance of the Linux server environment
- Administration of the technology loan
- Conception and implementation of an inventory system
- Coordination with the IT structural units of the Bauhaus University
- Support of the college in information technology issues
- Support in the procurement of hardware and software
- Support of the conference room
Your profile:
- Student at a German university
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
- Linux and Windows knowledge, ideally also experience in administration
- Programming skills
- Confident handling of confidential data
- Experience with IT security is an advantage
- Intercultural competence and a friendly demeanor
- Independent and accurate work and the willingness to familiarize yourself with new topics are expected
- Technical knowledge in the field of traffic planning optional

- Remuneration:
- When hired as a student assistant: 10,00 €/hour
- If hired as a research assistant (with bachelor degree): 11,00 €/hour
