Creativity has been the origin and remains to this day one of the most important resources and strengths of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. This can be witnessed in numerous projects and works, but above all in the actors themselves, who shape our university and beyond, our environment, in a diverse, innovative and sustainable way. But what does that mean in concrete terms? What is created in the workshop, in the studio or at the desk? Which issues and problems move the modern Bauhäusler and how do they address them?

This is exactly what the twin exhibition under the title »bauhaus.kreativ«  wants to make visible. Jointly, the Department of Research and the start-up hub neudeli will showcase examples of success from 15 years of the Kreativfonds on the one hand and a poster exhibition on the other hand, accompanying the release of the podcast "Auf eigenen Wegen", an audio interview format on the subject of »Creative Entrepreneurship« by the start-up hub neudeli.

Anniversary exhibition »15 Years Kreativfonds«

Since 2008, the Kreativfonds has been supporting artistic and creative projects at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, enabling a variety of book projects, films, prototype construction, installations, sculptures, and interactions in public spaces. The exhibition will showcase ten selected completed projects from 2018 to 2022.

Exhibition accompanying the release of the podcast »Auf eigenen Wegen«

Also on 29 September 2023, the start-up hub neudeli will publish the first episode of the podcast »Auf eigenen Wegen«. In this interview format, alumni of the Bauhaus University Weimar have their say and report on what it's like to become self-employed and work in the creative industries directly after graduation. The release is accompanied by a poster exhibition with astonishing, enthralling and perhaps also perplexing statements from the first eight episodes of the podcast.
