The focus of the students who conceived, planned and organised the semester show is to safely respond to the current pandemic situation. Thus, with 2G proof and daytime testing (2G+), the public will be able to experience the livestream as well as some projects on location in the open-air outdoor space of the university campus. The university's own test centre will be open especially for this purpose on all three days of the event. A maximum of 340 people are allowed on campus, who must wear a mask and keep their distance from each other. To ensure that the event can take place, more than 40 volunteers will be out and out on campus to make sure that everyone who is interested can visit the Winterwerkschau safely. The indoor exhibitions can only be visited by members of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. A separate hygienic concept has been drawn up for each individual room.
Those who would like to experience the Winterwerkschau from their home screen can do so on the event's own website at www.uni-weimar.de/winterwerkschau. Over 60 digital submissions showcase projects from art, design, media, civil engineering, architecture and music. On Friday, 4 February, from 6 p.m., and Saturday, 5 February, from 4 p.m., a moderated livestream will accompany the show of works with a diverse programme. In addition to the broadcast of cinematic works, exhibitors will also speak, student initiatives will present themselves - everything will be complemented by a musical mix of classical concert and experimental music.
