At the 2023 INFORMS Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Arizona (USA), Florian Blösl, research and teaching assistant at Management Center Innsbruck (MCI®) – The entrepreneurial school and doctoral student at the Chair of Innovation Management and Media at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Reinhard Kunz successfully presented initial results from the research project "Examining Individuals' Retirement Planning Behavior – The Contributions of Proactive Decision-Making," which he conducts in collaboration with FH-Prof. PD Dr. habil. Johannes Siebert, Prof. Dr. Reinhard Kunz and Dr. Jana Siebert. The research team was able to show that proactive decision-making influences various psychological characteristics, which in turn promote healthy financial behaviors, especially concerning retirement planning.
