Alexander Roth, M.Sc. is a doctoral student at the Faculty of Media of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar (1st supervisor is Prof. Dr. Reinhard Kunz, 2nd supervisor is Prof. Dr. Dr. Castulus Kolo). His dissertation project deals with value co-creation among different actors in the context of electronic sports (eSports) service ecosystems. Particular areas of interest are novel media technologies such as AR and VR.
Before his appointment with the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, he did his doctoral studies at the University of Cologne and the Macromedia University of Applied Sciences, where he also worked as a research and teaching assistant at the Munich campus. He studied sport and performance (B.Sc.) in his bachelor's studies and psychology in sport and exercise (M.Sc.) in his master's studies at the German Sport University in Cologne.
