Florian Blösl has been an external Ph.D. student at the Department of Media at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar since May 2023 at the Chair of Innovation Management and Media (Prof. Dr. Reinhard Kunz) and works in parallel as a Teaching & Research Assistant in the Department of Business & Management at Management Center Innsbruck in Austria. His primary research interests are focused on the behavioral consequences of proactive decision-making, especially in the context of entrepreneurial, financial, and media-specific behaviors. He is investigating such behaviors by participating in the project "Antecedents and consequences of proactive decision-making" led by Prof. Dr. Johannes Siebert at the Management Center Innsbruck.
Before his academic career, he completed an apprenticeship as a banking professional (IHK), gained extensive professional experience in the banking industry, and completed his business studies part-time at Steinbeis University Berlin (B.A.) and Management Center Innsbruck (M.A.). His professional experiences were a critical motivating factor for taking up his in-depth academic work. Privately, he enjoys Innsbruck's surroundings, which he explores on foot, by mountain bike, or on skis.
