As part of the Erasmus+ and KA171 programs, the Faculty of Media will be awarding a five-month bursary in 2025/2026 for a semester to be spent abroad at York University Toronto, Canada, which is one of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar’s partner universities. The bursary will be awarded to a student from one of the following degree programs: Informatik (B.Sc., from 5th semester), HCI (M.Sc.), CS4DM (M.Sc.). With around 50,000 students, York University is the third largest university in Canada. Since 2019, the Faculty of Media has been working in close collaboration with its School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design.

Residence allowance: € 700 per month

Travel allowance: € 820 (single payment)
