Guided campus tour 10.06.20 4 – 5:30 pm

Follow the traces of the early Bauhaus and experience the exciting past and present of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. A student guide will walk you through the buildings designed by Henry an de Velde, the Director's Office designed by Walter Gropius, along the wall designs by Oskar Schlemmer and others, but will also show you new, interdisciplinary working spaces like the Digital Bauhaus Lab, where Computer Scientists, Engineers, and Artists tackle major scientific and societal challenges of the information society.

Welcome dinner (10.06.20 7 pm)

Guided city tour (11.06.20 4-5:30 pm)

This tour takes you to the highlights of the classical period and the places where Goethe, Schiller, Herder and Wieland used to live. The route crosses all UNESCO World Heritage sights in the city centre and your guide will entertain you with stories and details from Weimar’s history.

Guided tour at the Bauhaus Museum (13.03.06 2 - 3:30 pm)

The tour highlights the eventful history of the Bauhaus, founded in Weimar in 1919. With a focus on central themes, e.g. New Man, Experimentation, New Everyday Life, Stage, Failure and Bauhaus Legacy, the tour offers a comprehensive view of this extraordinary school of art and design.

This is to enable us to work on the practical arrangements, reporting and any related activities which the staff week requires. The data will not be used for any other purposes. The deletion of the data provided takes place no later than six months after the holding of the event. Payment of the registration fee of 690 euros is due by March 20, 2020.
Bauhaus-Universität Weimar reserves the right to charge the following cancellation fees:
- Up to 8 weeks prior to the programme start: 150 EURO.
- 8 to 4 weeks prior to the programme start: 50% of the payable fees.
- Less than 4 weeks before the programme start: 100% of the payable fees.
