Nomination Procedure
Since March 2021, partner universities can nominate their students via the "Bauhaus Nomination Portal".

Impotant note on the use of the portal:
When using the nomination portal for the first time, you need to first register and create a password. You can then log in and nominate one or more students. With the account you have created, you can log in again each semester.
If you have forgotten your password, follow the link to the portal and click on "Forgot your password?" to create a new password.

Nomination Periods
Partners can nominate their students twice a year at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar:
| For exchanges during the winter semester at Bauhaus-Universität: | 01. February until 30. April |
| For exchanges during the Bauhaus summer semester at Bauhaus-Universität: | 01. July until 30. October |
After the nomination deadline has passed, we review your nomination(s) and will get back to you in case we have questions. Your students will then be informed about the application process by e-mail.
Please note: the »Nomination Tool« in the »Bauhaus Portal for International Partners« is displayed time-based and can only be used during the nomination periods.
Application Periods for Incoming Students
Once nominated, we look forward to receiving your student's online application through the »Bauhaus Portal für Incoming Students« in the following time frames:
| For exchanges during Bauhaus-Wintersemester: | 01. April until 15. May |
| For exchanges during Bauhaus-Summersemester: | 01. October until 15. November |
Pleae note: as with the »Nomination Tool«, the availability of the online application form is time-bound to the application periods. After we have received and reviewed your nomination, we will contact your students directly with this information and the link to the portal.
Feedback Processes
After the respective nomination deadline has passed, the nomination will be reviewed internally at the International Office of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. We will get back to you in case we have further questions regarding your nomination.
After the review of your nomination is completed, your student(s) will receive an email from us with the decision acceptance of the nomination and an invite to submit his/her application documents to us via our »Bauhaus Portal for Incoming Students«. In case of a decline of an application we will get back to you and the student(s).
