The International Office is entrusted with the internationalisation of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and sees itself as the interface between the University Directorate, the faculties, the students, and University Administration and Services. The office is responsible for:
- Strategic internationalisation
- Study and internships abroad
- Stays abroad for academic and non-academic staff
- Service and support for international students, scholars and artists
- Bauhaus Summer School
- Ombudsperson for international students
- Support with applications for third-party funding (e.g. DAAD)
