Student Dormitories
Furnished rooms are available for rent in the student dormitories of the Studierendenwerk Thüringen. Accommodations consist predominantly of single rooms and single apartments. Single rooms are for private use, while kitchens and bathrooms are generally shared. A single apartment is a one-room apartment with kitchen/kitchenette, bath/shower and toilet for private use.
When concluding a rental agreement, a deposit of 300 Euro is required.
The website of the Studierendenwerk Thüringen provides an overview of the student housing in Weimar. The most popular student dormitory for international students is Hummelstrasse 2.

You can apply for a room online via the online application form.

After your application you will receive a registration confirmation. Room offers are only sent to you at a later date.
