Weimar's main train station is located north of the city center and about 2 km away from the Bauhaus University Weimar. You can reach the university on foot in about 30 minutes or by bus line 1 in the direction of Belvedere/Ehringsdorf/Taubach in about 10 minutes. The bus stop "Bauhaus-Universität" in Marienstraße is located near the Mensa am Park and the Campus Office.
