Semester Contribution

There are no tuition fees at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. However, all students are obliged to pay the so-called “semester contribution” in order to be enrolled and to receive the student ID card “Thoska”. The amount of the fee depends on the services that can be used free of charge. All students at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar vote in a ballot to decide which services they wish to be included.
