So you are coming from far away to start your studies with us in Weimar. Where do you want to go afterwards? Do you already have a goal in mind? Or is the journey the destination?
In this workshop, we will initiate this thought process and explore together the conscious (or unconscious!) aspirations you connect with your studies at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
International Master's students in particular do not have much time in their schedules to acquire specific skills, experiences and networks that will facilitate starting a successful career, for example in Germany.
We provide you with the tools to continue this exploration process and to systematically take the right steps towards your envisioned career.
You'll get information on the following questions:
- What skills do you need?
- What educational and orientation opportunities does the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar offer?
- What funding opportunities are available?

When: 9 September 2024, noon (UTC +1)
Language: English/ German
What does it mean - not just to travel, but to move to another country to study, to live with people from all over the world and other worlds? How does it feel to be suddenly confronted by the euphoria of adventure and the need to cope with a complex everyday life? And what are we learning from the actual challenges and disruptions. This online workshop aims to combine these two scenarios in order to reflect the strategies we need (and definitely have) to deal competently with unknown and uncertain situations and to set the directions for (intercultural) self-development and successful studies.

When: 11 September 2024, 1:00 pm ( UTC +1)
Are you curious about your new study location? Not sure, if you will make it on campus this semester? Your soon-to-be-fellow student Leah will take you on a virtual tour around Weimar, the university campus and her personal favorite places. And you? Do you have a favorite place at the moment? Would you like to share?
You do not have to prepare anything, just register HERE to get the link to our online-meetingpoint - and then let's travel together!

Short before departure and still questions? Visa delay, weather forecast, dormitory, welcome drink... In this online session you will have the opportunity to ask all your questions. At the end of the session we will leave you for another hour in the virtual space to chat with your fellow students if you’d like to.
When: September 16, 2024, at 1 pm (UTC + 1)
