How to Properly Mount the Thermometer for Measuring the Room Temperature?
To enable the employees and students of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar to regulate the room temperature independently to the legally prescribed 19°C, thermometers have been received in the dean's offices of the faculties as well as in the secretariats of the departments and central facilities. You will receive brief instructions on how to mount the thermometers correctly.
Remove the adhesive film on the back of the adhesive hook and attach the adhesive hook to a surface (e.g. a cabinet or table) opposite an exterior wall, window or heater. The surface may need to be cleaned and dried beforehand.
For predominantly sedentary activities, attach the thermometer at a height of 0.6 meters; for predominantly standing activities, attach it at a height of 1.1 meters.
Attach the thermometer to the upper support of the hook. To do this, you need to screw it in on the tip of the hook and push it on with pressure, since the hook is a little wider than the opening. At the end, the thermometer should be attached as shown in the example picture.
Watch your thermometer regularly: If the temperature exceeds 19°C, turn down the heating.
If you have any questions about distribution, please contact the office responsible for your area.
