»Buy yourself a piece of Bauhaus« is the motto again on Saturday, 7 December 2024, when the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar invites you to the Christmas Market in the Mensa am Park.
Whether you are studying, working or have already graduated from the university - we look forward to seeing your creative ideas and products. The Bauhaus Christmas Market is the right place to present them in the right setting.
REGISTRATION - HOW IT WORKS
If you would like to take part with your products, you can register here with a stand by 20 November 2024 at the latest using the form below. Participation costs 30 euros per table for university students and 50 euros per table for employees or alumni. We have space for approx. 80 exhibitors (plus waiting list).
Before we get started, here are our rules
1. EVENT AREA AND TABLES
The market will take place on the upper floor of the Mensa. The tables we provide measure 1.20 x 0.70 m and have a smooth plastic surface.
2. SAFETY AND HYGIENE
a) The current regulations on infection control apply.
b) Additional showcases, displays and decorative material must be securely erected or fastened and made of flame-retardant material.
3. ORGANISATION
a) Exhibition area
Please take care of the exhibition area during the Christmas Market. No posters, cards, jewellery or other items for sale or decoration may be hung on areas or walls that have not been explicitly made available.
b) Items for sale
Due to federal regulations for markets, there are restrictions on the items that can be sold. In case of non-compliance with these regulations, participation is unfortunately not possible.
According to § 56 GewO - Gewerbeordnung (Trade, Commerce and Industry Regulation Act), it is not permitted to sell:
- Jewellery made of precious metals (platinum, gold, silver), precious stones, gemstones, synthetic stones and pearls. Exception: silver jewellery up to a sales price of € 40.00 and goods with silver plating
- alcoholic beverages in any form
- medical equipment
c) Sale of food
Please take note of this list when preparing your stand. In case of non-compliance with these regulations, participation in the Christmas Market is unfortunately not possible.
Fresh or raw food may not be offered for sale. The sale of egg liqueur, for example, is unfortunately not permitted as it contains raw eggs.
- Are all ingredients labelled and is the producer named? A short list of ingredients in flyer form is sufficient, which can be taken along with the purchase.
- Is the food packaged when it is sold? Biscuits and pieces of cake, for example, should be individually packaged.
- It is generally not possible to prepare food and drinks on site.
d) Set-up and Dismantling, Parking
Set-up is possible from 8 am on the day of the event and dismantling until 7 pm. Please use the exhibitors' car park for your vehicle. The university car park behind the Mensa with access via Beethovenplatz is available free of charge for exhibitors on Saturday. Access via Marienstraße or even short-term parking is not permitted.
e) Waste
We would also like to ask everyone to take their own rubbish to the rubbish container in the car park behind the Mensa at the end of the day.
4. PARTICIPATION FEE, PAYMENT AND WITHDRAWAL
Participation costs 30 euros per table for university students and 50 euros per table for employees or alumni. The participation fee includes a mandatory 19% VAT.
After your registration, you will receive an automated confirmation from us and later a confirmation or cancellation. Once you have been accepted, you can transfer the participation fee to the account DE39 8205 0000 3004 4442 73. When making the transfer, please make sure to state »8110100175 WM 2024« as the reason for payment. Those who requested an invoice when registering will receive it separately by email.
Payment at the Bauhaus.Atelier is not possible this year.
Your registration fee must be received by us no later than 3 days before the Christmas Market.
Should you wish to cancel your registration, please inform us immediately. We can then pass on your place to someone on the waiting list. If this is no longer possible, we will have to charge you the participation fee.
