What and when?
"Stadt, Land, Lehre – in Freiheit und Demokratie" was the topic of the Day of Teaching and Learning on May 29, 2024.
In keynote speeches, workshops and panel discussions, members of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences discussed how teaching and learning can contribute to democracy and freedom.
How resilient is our democracy in the face of the current crises? What forms of freedom do we need - be it in teaching, in the digital space, in research laboratories or in art? And how can we preserve the freedom of future generations?
Who?
The Day of Teaching and Learning 2024 was a cooperation with Nordhausen University of Applied Sciences.
All students, doctoral candidates, professors and staff members from both universities as well as guests were cordially invited to reflect on and further develop teaching and learning together.
