Investiture ceremony
On 6 April 2011 Prof. Dr. Gerd Zimmermann formally handed over the office of Vice-Chancellor to the newly appointed vice-chancellor Prof. Dr.-Ing. Karl Beucke. A large number of national and international guests attended the investiture ceremony in the university's main auditorium.
