On 19 November 2014, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar welcomed interested employees, students and guests to another Science Day. The event that started at 2 pm in the Oberlichtssal in the Main Building gave visitors the opportunity to learn about current research projects at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.

Enrolment Ceremony 2014

This year’s Enrolment Ceremony took place on 15 October 2014 at 5 pm in the main auditorium of the University Library. Newly enrolled students were invited to come and meet the professors and employees of the university who provided information and shared their experiences.

International Welcome Days

The International Welcome took place from 1 to 14 October 2014 as part of the Student Orientation Week. In the Welcome.Lounge in the Campus.Office tutors and staff helped all of the new international students figure out the formalities and organizational issues that they face after their arrival in Weimar.

Research in Europa

In cooperation with the European Liaison Office of the German Research Organisations (KoWi) the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar played host to various funding organisations on 25 September 2014. The purpose of the event was to provide a concise overview of the current funding opportunities in research at the national, European and international level.

From 10 to 13 July 2014, the university invited guests to enjoy its annual exhibition. Students and teachers presented their best work from the academic year for four days on campus and in the city.

Open Campus Day »hit« 2014

On 15 March 2014, the Open Campus Day (»hit«) attracted over 600 visitors to the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar’s campus. During lectures and guided tours, prospective students had the opportunity to learn about the university and student life in Weimar.
